Finice Association was founded in october 2008 after careful consideration. Association founders are couple of friends who have acted in the name of Finice already since 2004. The association already had to be established in 2005, but then the enthusiasm was low and idea were then buried. Finice was buried a couple of years after the incident but now the idea has blasted to a new life.

The association’s early roots are placed to Juankoski where all originated and the association representing the main features. We held a pair of Lan events over the years but activity was low and we didn’t get hi-popularity. That group has remained almost all and we are good friends.

Why the name Finice ry?
Finice was a long negotiation result for our group guild name. Different variations were considered, but Finice was selected as you can see.

What Finice association represents?
Finice ry is oriented for gaming and general “geeking” social half. We will try to collect the people behind nickname and have fun with other members.

What benefits members get?
We develop our services all the time and while we improve our own skills more and more services comes available. Currently we offer our members ventrilo server, in planning is irc-bouncer and ssh -connection.

How can I join?
Sorry but association is only for Finland citizens.

Do you have an IRC channel?
Yes! You find us in quakenet (irc.quakenet.org) channel #finice. The board members recognize @ / operators, and identified members of the association are v / voice.
